Hi everyone!

Wow, this last week and a half has flown by… we can barely keep up with all of the things on our to-do list! That hasn’t slowed you down, though – with over 1000 backers on board, you’ve already unlocked five stretch goals! The slipcase lining will now be printed, and all physical tiers will now include a set of 5" holographic prayer candle stickers, a die-cut bookmark, and a color magnet!

Next up is a 2” golden metal and color enamel decision coin featuring El Diablo and Tigre. $75k might seem high, but it’s right around the corner! And with 1 week left, it's almost a shoo-in!

We’ve still got some more surprises up our sleeve, so let’s unlock that coin and see what’s next!

Hitting 1000 backers felt like a real milestone, too, so we’ll be giving EVERYONE a set of digital wallpapers in a variety of screen sizes. Tying bonuses to backer count is a cool way for us to roll out even more freebies and upgrades to this party…

Hi everyone!

First off: apologies for the belated update! We meant to post a massive THANK YOU on Tuesday for such a fantastic launch! We're only 48 hours in, and already we've unlocked two stretch goals, with another right around the corner...

These characters are SO MUCH FUN! We've got a bunch of cool stretch goals lined up for the length of the campaign, so spread the word and let's see how many we can unlock for everyone! 😁

If you're new to this universe, or either author's previous work, don't worry -- LOBA LOCA is completely self-contained; you don't need any prior knowledge to enjoy this wild ride of a tale. But if you are curious, both MFKZ and Guillaume Singelin's (unrelated) SHIN ZERO and FRONTIER won't disappoint! Run and Guillaume are producing some of the best comics in the world right now, and we couldn't be more proud to offer them to you here in English for the first time, and in premium formatting that such excellence deserves. Their books will make you laugh, cry, gasp, and worry for the characters' well-being all within the same set of covers. Talk about layered onions; these are them.

This is admittedly a shorter campaign than most -- while some other graphic novel campaigns will run for 25-30 days, this one is scheduled to run a lean and exciting 18 days (as are most of our other campaigns). We'll end at 5 pm PST Friday, September 4th, so if you want in on the special tier pricing, non-retail exclusives, or the stretch goal bonuses, be sure to pledge before then! (The books will be available in the Pledge Manager after the campaign for late pledges or pre-orders, but if you want to get your hands on the campaign-exclusive bonuses and tier pricing, you've got two weeks to hop on board!)
